If you had a lot of 35mm film sleeves on hand after taking film photographs, what would you do with them? Usually most people throw it away, but with photographer Alireza Rostami, he has turned it into an extremely impressive camera.
In the latest project, Rostami took hundreds of empty 35mm film covers and glued them together to create quite special antique cameras. The collection includes a 4×5 film format Large Format camera and a 120 format film medium format camera. At first glance, it looks like an old Mamiya RB67 camera.

Ancient film cameras
Rostami said the idea of making the cameras she appeared when he thought about “peace and unity” after reading the book The Diary of a Young Girl.

Rostami is a photographer who has made 3D wrist cameras, wrist flashes, a camera made from computer components, or creates fanciful bokeh. Rostami’s YouTube channel is well known for its camera-related videos.
