Lazzarini Design Studio has just unveiled Avanguardia, a super yacht concept shaped like a swan with a movable neck and detachable head.
Avanguardia, the Italian for “vanguard” or “Avant-garde” (pioneer), seems to be a fitting name for a uniquely shaped yacht with a swan-shaped control tower above. high compared to the rest of the train.
According to the design studio, the yacht was inspired by several Japanese anime series in the 1970s and 1980s that feature robots with a control center header. But if only the swan head is included, the studio said it was inspired by “Casshan”, an anime series with the main character of a swan robot posing as a human.
The neck of the swan head control tower is stretchable and movable.
While a yacht is in motion, the neck and head can be lowered to the center of the vessel and used as the cockpit.
The neck can also be bent into the water so that the swan head is disassembled and transformed into a 16 meter long independent ship.
When the neck falls into the water, Avanguardia’s total length will increase by about 20 meters from the original 157 meter length.
When the head is disassembled, the top of the yacht becomes a spare control tower.
This detachable head is not the super yacht’s only “toy”, but the rear deck can hold two electric Jet Capsules, also designed by the company.
These Jet Capsules are detachable and act independently like two mini ships …
… or attach it to a yacht to transform into two additional propulsion devices.
In addition to the Jet Capsule, this concept ship also uses dual electric motors on the sides and an MTU Rolls-Royce aircraft engine.
In total, these engine systems allow yachts to launch at speeds of 33.34 km / h.
Super yacht concept has 5 separate decks, can accommodate up to 60 guests.
The yacht can accommodate up to five other supply ships – not including the swan head – and two helicopters.
The ship has two built-in aircraft storage areas.
