The unique ‘subway rats’ become the Wildlife photo of the year

The Museum of Natural History recently released winning photos from the ‘Lumix Wildlife Photography Contest’ with the top prize of photographer Sam Rowley. Selected from 48,000 photos and 25 other bright candidates, the winning photo is named “Clash in the terminal” Capture two mice fighting hard to win crumbs of bread in the subway station.

You may think this is a ‘lucky’ picture, but it is a result of the photographer’s patience. Rowley said he spent many nights at different subway stations, waiting for the best moment to shoot. This picture was taken shortly before a mouse won and left with a piece of bread.

“I am really happy to receive the award, this is my long-time wish and also by a picture right where I live. I also want to show everyone that a picture The wild can also be photographed in the middle of a familiar city space. “
