Shockingly, a lot of people still believed and rushed to get a sip from this dangerous drink. As a result, the members of Light Monyeki’s church began complaining about stomach pains and by the evening, five of them had died from severe poisoning.

The next day, another 13 people were taken to the hospital for drinking the lethal beverage. But despite everything, Monyeki still denied responsibility when the court accused of causing death. Instead of repenting, the pastor said: “Too many good things will turn into something bad, friends ?!”.
Currently, South African authorities have investigated, but have yet to arrest Light Monyeki.
