The Legends of Runeterra card game debuted in January, with both PC and mobile versions

In the introductory clip posted this morning, Riot Games has promised to release the Open Beta version of the card game Legends of Runeterra on January 24. Notably, this card game will appear on both PC and Mobile platforms.

Riot Games also gives a special gift to gamers who have tested this game before January 19. Those who are all pre-registered and trial players will experience the Open Beta on January 23, one day earlier than other gamers.

In particular, the Open Beta version of Legends of Runeterra will not reset. In addition, Riot Games will add a ranking mode upon launch. Players will climb the same rank League of Legends, from Sat Doan to Challenge and according to the NSX ad, it will only rely on the skill of the gamer.

Emphasizing on this skill factor, the development team stated that Legends of Runeterra would not be a “pay to win” game. Riot Games will not allow gamers to deposit more money, get more special cards to make victory easier. They will have another way to profit from this game so as not to break the balance and “gamer skill” factor.

In this OB version, Riot Games will also add a friend feature in the game. Players can invite their friends to “do a little solo”. As revealed, the entire list of friends in League of Legends will appear at Legends of Runeterra if that player also joins the game card arena.

This launch is still not the most complete version of Legends of Runeterra. Throughout 2020, Riot Games will continue to update new cards, balance adjustments, new features and applications on both Android and iOS operating systems.
