In recent versions, the line-up Talon – The Enlightenment has become extremely powerful and can be said to dominate the meta The Arena of Truth. One of the reasons for this dominance lies in the fact that Talon is too strong to have a large damage output and a mechanism to jump to different targets on the ring. Remember that Talon does not take damage while dancing, so this piece is very difficult to prevent and counter.
Talon was nerfed again, but it didn’t solve the chess piece problem
Riot Games realizing it, of course, but the modifications they aimed at Talon proved too “superficial” and did not affect the chess piece’s true strength much. Latest, Riot Games has released another nerf targeting Talon but it received the irony of the community because this edit does not make much sense. Even gamers want Riot Games to remove this piece from the game in bigupdate in the middle of the upcoming season.
Riot Mortdog – The Truth Arena design team leader “We have just updated a minor patch for Talon editing.
Skill AD ratio reduced from 200/225/250% to 200/200/250%.
Fixed an issue where Talon could attack himself with her own skill.
Fixed a bug where Talon could target enemies that could not be targeted with her skill “.
Nice change but I don’t think it will solve this unit’s main problem. Mechanics that cannot be targeted and can continually recover from Talon’s jumping are something that never equilibrates. I am not too surprised that the top players want to delete this piece or at least do it again.
Talon’s design is not really good at all. It caused a great amount of inhibition when confronted, like meeting Ahri when she was the strongest.
This change has almost no effect but fixes the bug, Talon has been on the rage for six weeks and chances are we endure it for another two weeks. Please delete this piece in patch 4.5, mid-season update, please.
Since 1-star Talon can “evaporate” a 3-star champion, I’m pretty sure this piece’s problem can’t be fixed.
Basically, Talon is in a situation quite similar to Kayle of season 3 when these chess pieces possess excessive power at level 1 star. Talon’s ability to jump back and forth between targets can be considered unbalanced, and if the effect is removed, Talon is too weak and extremely “imprisoned”, leaving it unimaginably strong. Adjusting the skill parameters only solves the problem in the tip, but Talon’s nature is unbalanced.
It is likely that Talon will suffer the same fate as Kayle, being too edited and still not solving the problem and then deleted in the mid-season major update.
Will Talon become another version of Kayle?
