Last year, Sharp launched the AQUOS Sense 3 product line and received positive feedback from consumers in Japan. Recently, the company has just launched AQUOS Sense 4 as its successor, including AQUOS Sense 5G, Sense 4, and Sense 4 Plus.
Besides AQUOS Sense 5G, the Japanese manufacturer also launched another 5G phone at the event, called the AQUOS Zero 5G Basic.
Unlike the name, AQUOS Zero 5G Basic carries on to me quite powerful hardware configuration. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate OLED display, 240Hz touch sampling rate and 6.4 inches in size. The screen of the device supports HDR and Full HD + resolution, integrated fingerprint sensor below.
The device uses Snapdragon 765G processor, combined with 6GB / 8GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB internal memory. On the back, AQUOS Zero 5G Basic is equipped with 3 vertically arranged cameras, including a 48MP main sensor, 13.1MP ultra wide-angle camera and 8MP telephoto camera. In addition, it also has a 16.3MP camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
AQUOS Zero 5G Basic comes with a 4050mAh battery, it is not clear whether it supports fast charging or not. Like the other 3 models, this phone is dust and water resistant according to IP68 / IPX5 standards.
Next is AQUOS Sense 4, owns a 5.4 inch screen (Full HD +) and has a fingerprint sensor integrated below the screen. It uses a Snapdragon 720G processor, which offers double the performance compared to the previous generation (Sense3 running Snapdragon 630 chip). The new model comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The AQUOS Sense 4 features a 3-camera system housed in a square module located in the upper left corner of the back. This camera cluster includes a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP super wide-angle camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera.
The device comes with a 4570mAh capacity battery, which will be sold later this year in 3 colors: Light Bronze, Silver and Black.
For AQUOS Sense 4 PlusThe device has a larger 6.7-inch screen and a 90Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate. However, instead of being integrated below the screen, the fingerprint sensor has been moved to the back.
The phone also uses the same Snapdragon 720G processor as the Sense 4, but has twice the RAM and internal storage – 8GB and 128GB, respectively. However, the battery capacity has been reduced to just 4120mAh, despite the larger chassis.
Basically, AQUOS Sense 5G is a version that adds a 5G network connection of Sense 4. It uses a Snapdragon 690 processor, instead of Snapdragon 720G as on the duo Sense 4 and Sense 4 Plus.
This model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory in UFS standard, providing the ability to read and write data faster. In addition, it is also pre-installed Android operating system 11 when sold, while the 4G version is only Android 10. Other specifications of the Sense 5G similar to Sense 4.
