Recently, Samsung introduced a new gaming monitor in the Vietnamese market called Odyssey G5. Odyssey is a series of monitors integrating many advanced features for professional gamers with outstanding hardware parameters.
As a product line for gamers, Odyssey G5 is equipped with a 1000R curved screen. This is a curvature suitable for the human eye, so Odyssey G5 gives the most comfortable viewing experience. In addition, this monitor also obtained “Eye Confort” certification from TÜV Rheinland for its ability to reduce harmful blue light to the eyes.
Odyssey G5 was launched with 3 screen sizes, including 27 inches, 32 inches and 34 inches. All 3 versions feature Quad HD (2560 x 1440) resolution, 16: 9 ratio with 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms latency, which minimizes stuttering and ghosting.
This screen uses VA panels with more than 16 million colors, has 250 nits of brightness, 2500: 1 contrast and supports HDR10 display technology. In addition, the product also supports AMD Freesync Premium Pro technology, which optimizes the display frame and minimizes input lag.
In terms of connectivity, Odyssey G5 is equipped with one Display Port 1.2 and one HDMI 2.0 port. The product comes with a 1.5m long HDMI cable.
Currently, Samsung has not announced the official price of the Odyssey G5 display in the Vietnamese market. In the US, this screen is priced at 299 USD for the 27 inch version, equivalent to about 7 million VND.
