After many leaked rumors, today, Xiaomi has officially launched the POCO X3. It owns many highlights such as 120Hz screen, the world’s first Snapdragon 732G CPU with an attractive price.
Unlike previous POCOs that were always a renamed version of a certain Xiaomi device, this time with the POCO X3, it had a completely new design. The overall machine is finished from polycarbonate plastic with a metal frame.
On the back, the POCO X3 stands out with a cluster of 4 main cameras placed in a horizontal square module, this camera cluster has a design quite similar to what we see on leaked images of the upcoming Redmi Note 10. launch. It is possible that the POCO X3 and Redmi Note 10 will share the same design.
This camera cluster of POCO X3 has the following parameters: a 64MP f / 1.89 wide-angle camera using Sony IMX682 sensor, a 13MP super wide-angle camera with 119-degree viewing angle, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP camera for depth measurement.
This back of the machine is divided into 3 symmetrical color arrays, in the middle is the familiar vertical “POCO” logo. The two sides of the device are also curved for a comfortable grip.
On the front, the POCO X3 is equipped with a 6.67 inch screen, using DotDisplay LCD panel with Full HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling frequency. The screen has a “mole” design with a single 20MP f / 2.2 selfie camera. In terms of quality, the display of the POCO X3 has a contrast of 1500: 1, covers 84% of the NTSC color range and 87.4% of the DCI-P3 color range, 450 nits of brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Don’t use the OLED screen, so the fingerprint sensor of the device is integrated into the power button on the side.
In terms of performance, as previously reported, the POCO X3 is the first smartphone in the world to be equipped with a Snapdragon 732G chip that was introduced by Qualcomm not long ago. This chip offers a performance improvement of about 15% over the Snapdragon 730 / 730G. It has 6GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB memory. The battery comes with a pretty terrible capacity, up to 5160mAh and supports 33W fast charging via USB-C port. The device runs on Android 10 with MIUI 12 for POCO interface.
POCO X3 will be sold in the European market and on September 8, there are two colors: cobalt blue and dark gray. The prices for the product are as follows:
– 6GB + 64GB: 229 EUR, equivalent to 6.3 million VND
– 6GB + 128GB: 269 EUR, equivalent to 7.4 million VND
During the pre-order, users can buy POCO X3 at a preferential price of only 199 EUR / 249 EUR, equivalent to 5.5 million / 6.8 million VND. This is the price for the European market, where the price is more expensive than in most markets. In the near future when the device is sold in Asian markets (and possibly Vietnam), the POCO X3 may have an even more attractive price.
