Just launched on September 1, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 was officially introduced in the Vietnamese market. This is the successor to the Galaxy Fold folding phone that was launched last year.
One of the biggest changes of the Galaxy Z Fold2 is in the design. Although still carrying basic design lines with a large screen folded in the form of a notebook and an external screen, this machine has made significant improvements compared to its predecessor.
It can be easily recognized that the secondary screen of the machine has been increased to 6.2 inches with Infinity-O design and thin top and bottom bezels for the feeling of “overflowing” the entire front. This large screen allows users to easily operate and use quick tasks without turning on the machine.
The main screen of the Galaxy Z Fold2 also used the Infinity-O design, not a part of the area like the elder and the size was raised to 7.6 inches. With a significant reduction in the thickness of the screen bezel, this machine gives a much better user experience than the first generation.
Using the same 2x Dynamic AMOLED panel as on the Galaxy Note20, this screen offers a 120Hz scan speed with technology that automatically adjusts the scan to match the displayed content, for smooth motion with many different tasks. Moreover, this screen is also enhanced with an ultra-thin glass (UTG – Ultra Thin Glass) similar to the Galaxy Z Flip which, according to the supplier, will help improve durability and minimize folds on the screen.
The back design of the Galaxy Z Fold2 has many similarities to the Note20 Ultra when it is finished with metal with a rough surface for the feeling of holding hands. The edges of the machine are also exquisitely scratched, so the overall look of the Galaxy Z Fold2 is very sturdy.
Prominent on the back is the cluster of 3 main cameras, telephoto and super wide angle with the same resolution of 12MP. The two selfie cameras both on the front and back of the Galaxy Z Fold2 have 10MP resolution and f / 2.2 aperture.
Besides the screen, the biggest change in the design of the Galaxy Z Fold2 is in the hinge part. Using the same CAM structure as with Z Flip, this machine can be folded open and held in different positions, not fixed by flat opening or closing as before. According to the manufacturer, the structure is protected by tiny hairs to prevent dust from being able to get in, enhancing the durability. In addition, the hinge part can now be changed to the exterior color of the case according to the personality with 5 different options.
With a change in the hinge design, now the Galaxy Z Fold2 has been enhanced with a number of new features useful for the experience. You can easily place the device on the table to take pictures, watch videos or do some basic quick tasks.
In addition, this opening and closing mechanism is also enhanced with the Flex Mode feature, allowing the screen to split in half with some applications such as watching videos, taking photos … enhancing the experience more enjoyable.
In addition, making the most of the large screen, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Z Fold2 with powerful multitasking capabilities that allow multiple applications to be opened at the same time. With 3 maximum applications, not only works simultaneously, but users can also drag and drop content as well as create groups of applications to open instantly.
Galaxy Z Fold2 will be equipped with Snapdragon 865+ processor, 12GB RAM and 256GB internal memory. The device uses 4500mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.
This machine will have two color versions Dong Anh Kim and Black Diamond with the official price of 50,000,000 VND, equivalent to the Galaxy Fold at the time of launch.
