Wedding is the most important event in every person’s life, so everyone wants to be happy with family, friends, relatives. But, Covid-19 has ruined the dream of many couples, some have to cancel, some still decide to organize but only a few invited guests.
This couple cannot invite friends and family to their wedding because Covid-19. So they used … carton cover instead.
Like many others, the couple Dan Stuglik and Amy Simonson, in Pokagon, Michigan, had been preparing for their wedding months ago. They made an invitation list of about 160 people. However, because of the pandemic, their plan did not go as planned.
The special guest of the wedding.
Dan didn’t want to cancel the wedding, so he decided to ask Menasha Packaging Company in Coloma to cut the mannequins representing 160 guests for his wedding. I said: “I don’t want Amy to have to walk into the hall without anyone witnessing. The feeling will be very lonely so I want to do something that represents the guests.”
At first Dan had just decided to buy some cardboard to cut himself, but the Menasha company was so enthusiastic that he had to send people to measure, design and cut the mannequins in the shape of Dan’s guests and Amy. Dan said: “I just bought a couple of cardboards and they brought a designer and created something amazing.”
The mannequins cut are quite similar to the guests with tall and short shapes, young and old, with long hair, short hair and ponytail.
The couple said they would go honeymoon on Rhode Island after the blockade ended.
