You may not know, mutant superhero Logan /Wolverine Nearly owning blonde curly hair rather than the typical black hair that we often see.
Have you ever wondered if the face behind that Wolverine mask could be a face you never knew?
Recently, Senior Editor cum Deputy Director of Publication Marvel, Tom Brevoort, dug up the first Logan design behind the Wolverine mask. According to the design of the legend X-MEN John Byrne, Logan almost owns blonde curly hair rather than the typical black hair that we often see.
Below is the first image of Logan grafted with the body of this character.

Does that mean we should have a Wolverine like this:
The reason for the design was probably because X-MEN writer Chris Claremont was going to let Wolverine be … the son of Sabretooth (character born shortly after). However, Chris Claremont later changed his mind and asked the then X-MEN artist Dave Cockrum to design another shape.
With a little bit of editing, we have Sabretooth.
Wolverine took off the mask for the first time in the story series UNCANNY X-MEN # 98, and so we have a Logan with a unique hairstyle that hasn’t changed since then. This image was later edited by John Byrne and used for the mutant Sabretooth, who almost became Logan’s father.

Thanks to that, creating Logan later made the fans feel satisfied and applied to the majority of his versions throughout the multiverse. It is extremely fortunate that the first shape was not applied, because so it will not be impressive at all, right?
