This year, the British director continues to return to the Devil (Original title: The Banishing) with the horror story about the haunted house famous Borley Rectory.

The Devil’s Axis is set in England in the early 1930s when Pastor Linus (John Heffernan) and his wife Marianne (Jessica Brown Findlay) and daughter Adelaide (Anya McKenna-Bruce) moved to a small town in England. Linus was commissioned by the Church to restore the faith of villagers after the past pastor’s family mysteriously disappeared in the very house he had just moved in.
Not long after, ghostly voices, dark figures dressed as a cult began to appear. With that, Adelaide’s behavior has become more and more strange. A dark force is plotting to take over her soul and the Church seems to be hiding a heavenly secret.
