[00:03] Today, I got the first headache with the Adsense payment process :)
The long story short:
I want to receive money directly via an ATM machine instead of Western Union check, so I go ahead, select Bank Transfer as the primary method.
I’m not familiar with this one, so I entered the ATM card number (4705-…1831) instead of the account number (1010…2602).
So, it ended up, today, the pay-day, an automatic payment was released into a wrong account number.
I start to worry, does my money is gone?, does Google refunds to my Adsense balance?, when I can re-receive this payment again, and how?, etc. :”/
[00:33] “If 15 business days have passed since your payment was issued and you haven’t received it, please get in touch with us via this contact form. We’ll provide you with a SWIFT copy/UTR to track your payment. The SWIFT copy/UTR is a unique payment number which will help your bank to locate your payment. It contains information such as the time and date when your bank received your payment” – google.com
[00:42] Fortunately, some investigations enlighten me a little bit.
[00:55] Instead of this one, before.
This is the correct one, after.
[01:10] Review twice information before saving it as the primary method.
Basically, because of the unavailable account number, this payment will be failed after a couple of days.
Fortunately, Google will attempt to send the payment into the primary method again.
So we need to delete the wrong method and have two choices: add another correct bank account as primary, or leave the existing WU method as an alternative.
Some major banks have the online lookup tool to track the payment via this number.
[01:51] And wait for this payment enters the “Invalid” status, the Google will re-release it again in a couple of days.
Do not enter the ATM number again :))
[01:57] Consider these documents before start worry about your money :)
[02:36] “Perhaps the most important thing we need to realise about bank deposits is that they are liabilities. When you pay money into a bank, you don’t really have a deposit. There isn’t a pot of money sitting somewhere with your name on it. Instead, you have lent that money to the bank. They owe it to you. It becomes one of their liabilities. That’s why we say our accounts are in credit: we have extended credit to the bank” – gendal.me
[03:16] “As wire transfers are quick, simple and secured mode of transferring of funds, many AdSense users have upgraded to this new mode of payment in India. Later, they realized that they cannot revert back to previous payment mode if once upgraded. The idea behind the reverting back to older payment mode is that the wire transfer payments are started to fail – amfastech.com
[04:11] “The normal process is to transfer the Google resources to an account located in the United States and that the receiving bank (intermediate) transfers these funds to your account here in Brazil.
This theory is very simple, but the process has several variables involved, if not strictly complied, cause problems and make the resources become “blocked” your account” – brunocunha.com
