Every year, Vietnamese social networks always witness “thriller” drama or scandal stories from idols such as streamer, TikToker. It is an inevitable problem and social network users see it as a color that creates diversity in the overall picture reflecting the development of the internet as well as daily life. In a year with so many dramas, let’s take a look at some of the most notable scandals in 2021.
Hot photos, clips 18+
2021 is a year when Vietnamese social networks witness a lot of hot photo projects and there is no shortage of “content” revealing clips created by some “power”. The most prominent of them is definitely the 40GB leak of hot photos of many streamers and celebrities. Next, Quynh Alee, Gam Kami or even Le Bong were also rumored to reveal 18+ clips, but 99.99% of them were fake information. The clip is nowhere to be seen, just know that the number of followers of these “idols” has increased rapidly.
Over the past year, many famous YouTubers like Tho Nguyen or “Duy Can” of Hanoi Pho channel have been involved in controversies related to making inappropriate content or spreading fake information on social networks. If Tho Nguyen was condemned with a series of clips promoting superstition, the YouTube channel Hanoi Pho was fined for providing fake information in the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic.
Next, YouTube channels that affect young audiences like Timmy have been dealt with in the form of “deleting the channel” which is also one of the notable information in the past year.
Creating dirty, morally decadent content
The past year has also seen an emerging series of TikTokers and streamers crafting morally depraved video clips. The most prominent of them is the clip “troll managing, making G*m and Qu**h pregnant” by a well-known TikToker on social networks. Words with bold meanings of 18+ like “Thr**so**” to a series of curses that the clip production team themselves could not handle or maybe they intentionally revealed it like that. The clip is not labeled 18+ to restrict young viewers. As a result, the anger of netizens caused the insiders to go online to explain with tears.
Next, these same TikTokers appeared on My Dinh Stadium as the central stage posted on TikTok. Of course, the purpose is no different from creating attention as well as adding “content” to the video. But the way this girl was on the field made many people feel offensive because the act of removing the mask right in the crowd just for the purpose of filming TikTok clips.
Many disguised social networks with sexual elements are condemned by VTV
Many social networking platforms today are said to be ideal places for many users to take advantage of to show off their bodies, sometimes up to hours. In order to attract many viewers, there is not only the act of showing off, but also performing uncultured challenges.
Most of the performers are young girls and their purpose is nothing more than to make money from their own viewers. Because, this application allows to top up the application and give it to the person who shows off his body. When they receive the money that can be interpreted as a “donate”, these girls can withdraw the money to their bank accounts.
Opposite – Clean up cyber junk
VTV’s program “Opposite – Clean up cyber junk” over the past year has condemned many unhealthy content on social networks recently. In it, VTV also took the example of a famous game in Vietnam, but also associated with many markets and many young buffaloes. For more than 30 seconds talking about the problem of violent games affecting and negatively affecting young people, there was an image of this game that was given as an example.
TikTok and dangerous, vulgar content
In a program called 24h Motion on VTV in the past year, there was a report: “Two days ago, a series of media outlets in the US reported on a 12-year-old boy in this country who died after participating in a The dangerous trend is called Blackout Challenge – Translated as “The challenge of fainting on social media TikTok. A heartbreaking lesson for families with young children about the unpredictable dangers they can face when using social networks.
Even more dangerous is that currently, on TikTok, there are even clips with objectionable, obscene content uploaded by users themselves. For example, the clip that has been circulating on social networks in the past few days is said to be of a female user using TikTok.
The above are just a few of the many waves and dramas in the past year that happened on social networks (MXH). There are still many other scandals that we cannot list in a single article. Hopefully in 2022, Vietnamese social media will not have too many “shocking” dramas and scandals like last year to partly create a healthier and cleaner environment in cyberspace.
