In Dragon Ball Super Monaka was originally described as a hero in his home planet –Wagashi. He is said to have fought with the god of destruction to protect his homeland and is the strongest warrior Beerus has ever met. However, the whole thing is just a fictional destroyer to help Goku have a strong motivation to practice, and the truth is Monaka is a “special” character weak.
As revealed by Whis, Monaka is not a fighter, his main job is a delivery agent … intergalactic. However, accidentally or intentionally, Goku still “naive” for Monaka is the strongest warrior currently in the universe.
Although talent is nothing but everyone should not rush to despise Monaka, you can also defeat other opponents with your ability. Here are 5 people that Monaka can defeat in a duel.
Veku is the obese version of Gogeta that appeared when Goku and Vegeta tried to merge for the first time in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn against the demon Janemba. According to Daizenshuu, Veku has a power level of 704. In this state, Veku has extremely weak power, reduced speed and limited Ki energy.
In the battle against Janemba, instead of fighting, Veku mostly just “ran away” with a technique called “Rabbit Feet”. However, this technique proved to be very unpredictable, it did not follow any rules, so Veku also hit Janemba a few times though not causing any damage.
As a malformed fusion with nothing but power, Monaka is capable of defeating Veku. Because at least he had previously received a punch from Goku and showed himself not too weak.
Pilaf Emperor was one of the first fighting forces that Goku met in the original Dragon Ball series and even then the character also made notable appearances in both Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super.
The arrival of Pilaf the great king always makes the reader feel “cute”. He always leads 2 thugs to go everywhere undergoing “hundreds of thousands of bitter” in order to collect Dragon Ball because he wants to confess the galaxy. But Pilaf actually has no talent, he has never been shown to be able to fight but only sits with his five fingers and subordinates only.
For this character, Monaka may be able to overcome Pilaf because of his limited combat experience.
In Dragon Ball, Mr. Satan, whose real name is Mark, is a champion in the Martial Arts Games, he is revered by people all over the world and is considered the hero of humanity’s salvation. But in fact he did not have any super powers at all, all he took aim at himself to dread the galaxy.
In a sense, Monaka also has many similarities with Satan when both are “respected” heroes. The only difference is that Monaka is humble and more knowledgeable, so he can overcome Satan with his strength.
Mr. Popo is the assistant of God Kami. When Popo first appeared, he was considered a strong man, but the less he fought, the less his role turned to serve the gods as a butler. In the Dragon Ball series, we know that he takes care of three people, Kami, Kami and Dende’s predecessors.
As a pacifist who did not like violence, Popo often did not fight, but instead advised him to fight and talk more. Taking advantage of this point Monaka could defeat Popo by putting him in a dilemma such as taking advantage of the safety of the Earth to threaten, for example.
Not to say we all know that Yamcha is one of the weakest characters from the beginning to the end of the Dragon Ball game. Most of the battles Yamcha participated in, he was defeated. Even later, author Akira Toriyama almost always cut Yamcha’s productivity to give land to other characters like Gohan, Vegeta or future Trunks.
And now Yamcha no longer seems to be fighting anymore, focusing on other activities in the main battle. So it is clear that Monaka is in a better position to fight and will probably defeat this “unlucky” character.
