A company user requires an Active Directory user account to log on to a computer or to a domain.

The account establishes an identity for the user; then the operating system uses this identity to authenticate the user and grants him or her permissions to access specific domain resources.

User accounts can also be used as service accounts for some applications.

That is, a service can be configured to log on (authenticate) as a user account, and it will be granted access privileges to specific network resources through that user account.

[00:22] Now, we are creating a user object.
