Chrome tab grouping for computers has been added to Chrome Beta and will be coming to different platforms soon through a stable release next week.
I (the author) usually open 15-20 Chrome tabs on my laptop (and I bet it’s not just me). Each time, just tidying up the tabs alone was enough for the headache. Luckily, Google will soon launch tab grouping to help those who have the habit of opening multiple web surfing tabs like me become more organized.
With this new feature, users can rearrange the tabs with colorful labels for different purposes. The user can then easily move and organize the internal tabs within a label. Also if you do not like using words to name the label, you can also use emoji.
Google also said that: like normal tabs, groups will also be saved and will automatically restore status once users open Chrome. Tab grouping will be available on platforms like Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS next week. But if you want to experience this feature more, you can download the latest version of Chrome Beta here.
