Zombie mode has been an important and different part of the Call of Duty experience since it first appeared in 2008, in the form of Call of Duty: World at War mode. This mode has just been released recently on Call of Duty Mobile, with a single map called Shi Shi no Numa, (Deadly Swamp in Japanese). This map is based on DLC of World at War.
The structure of Zombie Mode will look like this: You, along with three other players, will collaborate and fight against the waves of undead. The number of waves of zombies and difficulty will be based on which mode you have chosen, along with boss battles in the final round. If you are playing Survival mode, there will be an endless wave of zombies for you to fight until you cannot continue.
Here are some of the best tips to help you survive the horrors of zombie mode.
1 – Constantly buying Perks, Tokens, Buffs and Ammo
In the heat of the Call of Duty Mobile battles, you have to constantly focus on facing many difficulties so sometimes forget not to spend any resources collected. Remember that every little thing is useful because you will run out of bullets more often in later waves of zombies. Try to use the time between waves of zombies to prepare your equipment.
2 – Coordinate with teammates
When you have to deal with a bunch of zombies inadvertently, it’s best to act with your friends instead of fighting everything alone. By taking turns shooting when other players are reloading bullets, you can definitely keep the zombies away. That also makes the attacks more effective, avoiding the case that both players can focus on the same target and waste ammunition.
3 – Explore all areas
Although you can complete the first few rounds in the start area, it is very important that other areas be opened as quickly as possible. The other rooms will allow more space to move so you can escape when surrounded by a large number of zombies.
4 – Make use of grenades
Grenades are expensive, but they’re worth every penny when you’re stuck in a swarm of zombies. Trip Mines (magnetic mines that explode when the target hits the sensor) can also be used in the same way. However, they will be best used to defend the area after you retreat. Remember, these items should not be wasted on single zombies.
5 – Use traps
All areas of the map contain several types of traps that you can take advantage of. These items can clear a large amount of zombies to give you and your team a much needed rest period. And you need to make sure you can escape the trapped area and your teammates aren’t in it.
6 – Know the location of the best guns
You need to search the map to know where the best guns are hidden. In a zombie match, you will start the game with just a pistol and a few other options. As soon as possible, try to go to the locations to get more weapons. There is also a secret room that you can access by collecting elevator parts and fixing it.
7 – Always keep calm
Players are often overwhelmed when faced with large numbers of zombies. When panicked, players tend to waste their ammo by discharging ineffective bullets instead of aiming at their heads, which in turn leads to even worse results. Therefore, keep a cool head and wipe out the nearest zombies, then slowly find a way to escape.
