As Drax’s original role model, after all, Vin Diesel voices the tree, earning a trillion dong

Drax – The Terminator is one of Marvel’s long-standing characters, as well as a key member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Making a rather lackluster debut in the Guardians of the Galaxy series, this character gradually became one of the favorite faces in Marvel Cinematic Universe with his naivety, the brat of his humor.

However, few people know that in order to realize this character from the comic book version, Marvel took the actor Vin Diesel as inspiration. Marvel President Kevin Feige and director James Gunn have been thinking of the actor’s 2004 film Chronicles of Riddick to build on his character.

And it is not difficult when we recognize many similarities of the hero Riddick with Drax, especially in appearance, mettle and weapons are two super cool daggers.

Not only that, the character of this character is similar to what director James Gunn wants the character Drax to aim for. This also makes Vin Diesel becomes an ideal choice for the role in Guardians of the Galaxy.

However, what surprised many people the most here is that the person playing the character Drax is not Vin Diesel but another person. Apparently the actor has also appeared in the MCU but is in the role of voicing Goot – a tree. Actually this is quite a bold decision of Marvel filmmakers.

Initially choosing Dave Bautista for Drax, many people thought it was a high-risk decision. But looking at Drax’s current success we see it as a wise choice. Obviously director James Gunn always knows for sure what he needs and knows what to do at that time.

As for the part Vin Diesel he is not saddened at settling down with the voiceover for the character Groot in various shades. And with this job, he even earns more remuneration than Dave Bautista with a figure of up to 52 million dollars (more than 1,184 billion), surpassing the superstar Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.
